Penn’s Peak is proud to announce David Cassidy on Friday, February 12th, 2010 at 8:00pm. 

David Cassidy began his career in television and now he has finally returned to where it all started by starring in the latest ABC Family Show “Ruby & The Rockits.”  The show stars not only David Cassidy, but also his brother Patrick Cassidy.  Shaun Cassidy, one of the most successful and respected television creators, producers and writers heads the shows production while youngest brother Ryan Cassidy is the production designer.  It is quite the family affair.  David Cassidy’s career was launched when he was on the very popular show The Partridge Family with his stepmom Shirley Jones. 

The Partridge Family premiered in 1970 and, by the end of the year, David Cassidy had the #1 selling single of the year, record of the year, multiple Grammy nominations and a Golden Apple Award.  As a matter of fact, David became so popular that membership in his fan club exceeded those of Elvis Presley and The Beatles.  This was just the beginning of his record breaking career.  To date, his records have sold well over 30 million copies worldwide and are recognized with more than 24 Gold and Platinum recordings.  He alone was responsible for 7 chart topping Partridge Family singles. 

Along with his musical accomplishments, David still believes himself to be an actor first and foremost.  He has starred on Broadway, in London and, in 1996, in Las Vegas.  He starred in the Las Vegas production EFX which, under his direction, soon became the most successful production in Las Vegas.  It was quickly voted Best Production in Show in Las Vegas and David was voted Best All Around Performer and Best Singer.  He forged ahead and starred in a few other productions (Broadway and Las Vegas) and then headed out on the road once again to do a little concert touring.  There just isn’t any slowing down for this multi-faceted actor, musician, songwriter and the list goes on.
