Making another appearance at Penn’s Peak, the Outlaws!!

Penn’s Peak is proud to announce the Outlaws on Saturday, August 21st 2010, at 8:00 pm. 

The Outlaws of today are on the threshold of a new era with their guitar-driven country rock sound.  The band has endured much sorrow over the years with the loss of members Frank O’Keefe, Billy Jones and, most recently, Hughie Thomasson.  But original singer/songwriter/ guitarist Henry Paul and original drummer/songwriter Monte Yoho are forging ahead.  They have enlisted some new members and they hope to keep the legacy of the Outlaws alive and kicking. 

Chris Anderson (lead guitar) is a longtime Outlaws bandmate, but he has done some solo work and has established himself as one of Southern Rock’s most notable players.  Along with Chris, there is another exceptional lead guitarist, Billy Crain.  He played with the Henry Paul Band in the late 70’s.  Randy Threet (singer/songwriter/bassist) joined the Outlaws in 2005 and he too also previously played with Henry.  Rounding out the new lineup is keyboardist Jon Coleman.  He too is a singer/songwriter and found his way to the Outlaws through the super-group collaboration of Brothers of The Southland which, ironically enough, featured Paul Henry. 

Come out to Penn’s Peak and listen to the country rock sounds of the Outlaws!! 

Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 20th at 10:00 am at all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Penn’s Peak Ticket Office.  Penn’s Peak ticket sales are walk-up only, no phone orders.
